Maybe I'll Email you a link.

I listen to a lot of music and often write while a listen to music. It's a near nightly part of my process. I thought it would be something interesting to add to my blog. Jeff St. Claire at CounterPunch often includes lists of music he's listening to and books he's reading. Like many artists, I'm something of a thief. SSSHHH! Much of the fight for psychotic's rights in this country was led by a libertarian psychiatrist named Thomas Szasz. One of my favorite quotes of his is “Anyone who seeks to help others—whether by means of religion or by means of medicine—must eschew the use of force.” You are absolutely correct that the opposite view has often been adopted by that same opposite view's greatest victims. I will (probably) never know what it is like to be oppressed for being queer. But I also will (probably) never know what it is like to be burned at the stake for being psychotic. This is due to the horror decent people felt when witnessing psychotics being burned at the stake, and their compassion leading them to change things.

Quick question: Are you actually familiar with all those tracks you put on your "influenced this post" list? If so, I am impressed. Over the course of years, they would seem to outnumber the late Dr. Demento's collection.
The Borghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04928718850468526199noreply@blogger.com
